California Coast

I moved from Chicago to California and fell in love with the easy access to nature and year-round awesome weather. These bluffs are near Santa Barbara/Goleta. I loved coming here when the poppies bloomed on the hillsides and Monarch butterflies would stop to rest at Ellwood Mesa October through February.
 
The site is open sunrise to sunset with no admission fee, but the City of Goleta does accept donations to support the Monarch Butterfly Docent Program.
