Labradorite Ring

I was inspired by a trip to Baja Sur, Mexico, where I bought this rough stone that shimmered when the sun hit it—like the sparkling Pacific ocean 🌊. I  wanted to make part of the ring kind of rough, like the desert landscape in Baja, so I contrasted the shiny bezel setting against a rough-textured, hammered ring.

Inuit people claim labradorite fell from the frozen fire of the aurora borealis. Some say wearing labradorite allows one’s innate magical powers to surface. We could all use magical touchstone moments in our lives.
