Rincon Point
I've been lucky enough to be able to spend many nights at Rincon, thanks to my friend Nancy and her wonderful family who own a home there that was built in the 1930s.
We walk the shore, looking for beach glass, and shells, have driftwood fires on the beach, jump in and try to get use to the freezing water, and spend hours watching surfers catch corduroy waves that seem to never end.
I love how being at Rincon makes me feel calm and lucky to have great friends and watch people of all ages play in the water. And the idea that generations of families have been able to connect with each other in such a beautiful place. Check out this book for more history about Rincon Point.
